About This Font
Balkiez Hellenistic Script captures the timeless grace of ancient Greek ornamentation, translating the flowing meander patterns of Hellenistic art into a bold, high‑contrast script. Its sweeping strokes and pronounced stress axis give the typeface a lively, handcrafted feel while retaining refined legibility. Each character is thoughtfully crafted with multiple alternates, allowing designers to fine‑tune the rhythm and texture of every word. The result is a typeface that feels both historic and contemporary, perfect for projects that crave a touch of cultured elegance. Ideal for coffee‑shop signage, boutique branding, artisanal product labels, invitation suites, and eye‑catching web headers, Balkiez Hellenistic Script brings a sense of cultured sophistication to any visual language. The extensive alternates and optional ligatures let you compose fluid, decorative compositions that stand out on stickers, posters, and digital interfaces alike. Its versatile character set of 503 glyphs ensures support for full uppercase and lowercase alphabets, numbers, punctuation, and special symbols, making it a robust choice for both print and screen.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
