✦ ScriptHandwritten & flowing — perfect for invitations and logos
About This Font
Benford is a sophisticated vintage script typeface that captures the nostalgic elegance of early 20th-century design with its richly layered style. Its flowing letterforms breathe a sense of romanticism and heritage, evoking the warm, tactile feel of aged paper and hand-painted signage. The font balances intricate detail with effortless readability, creating a visual texture that feels both delicate and bold. It carries a deep emotional resonance, ideal for those who appreciate the story behind classic typography. This versatile display face shines when paired with clean sans-serif or traditional serif typefaces, creating a striking contrast that highlights the whimsical nature of the script. It serves as a perfect finishing touch for vintage beer labels, ephemera-inspired stationery, and retro packaging designs. Designers will find that Benford adds a sweet, artisanal topping to wedding invitations, brand identities, and creative projects seeking a touch of old-world charm. The included alternates allow for custom adjustments, ensuring your layout feels unique and hand-crafted.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
