About This Font
Bertholina Script captures the raw elegance of hand-lettered ink with a modern twist, offering a visual experience that feels both intimate and expansive. Its defining characteristic is a series of hyper-extended strokes that flow with an organic, dry-ink texture, creating a sense of effortless movement across the page. The typeface balances airy, open structures with sharp, precise executions, resulting in a mood that is romantic yet sophisticated. This unique blend of traditional calligraphy and contemporary design ensures that every word feels like a personal signature, inviting viewers to linger on the beauty of the letterforms. This versatile script is perfectly suited for designers seeking to elevate their projects with a touch of luxury and authenticity. It shines in high-end editorial layouts where lifestyle imagery needs a poetic touch, as well as in bespoke event signage that demands a romantic, handcrafted feel. Brands in the beauty and spirits industries can leverage its elegance to distinguish their packaging from mass-produced alternatives. Whether you are crafting a memorable wedding invitation or creating high-impact social media graphics, Bertholina provides the dramatic flair needed to capture attention instantly.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
