About This Font
Immerse your designs in the raw power of medieval calligraphy with Candlix Blackletter. This typeface captures the dramatic essence of historical gothic scripts while maintaining a modern, clean aesthetic. Each stroke is meticulously crafted to balance ornate detail with robust legibility, creating a visual impact that is both timeless and contemporary. The heavy weight of the glyphs commands attention, offering a voice that is authoritative, mysterious, and deeply artistic for any project requiring a touch of historical gravitas. Unlock endless creative potential across a spectrum of design applications. Candlix shines in branding for music festivals, rock bands, and gothic-themed events where a strong identity is essential. It also elevates editorial layouts, book covers, and packaging designs that demand a distinctive, handcrafted feel. The inclusion of alternate characters and ligatures empowers you to customize letterforms for unique monograms or display typography. Whether you are illustrating album art or designing a logo, this font provides the structural integrity and decorative flair needed to make your work stand out.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
