About This Font
Delegat – Comic‑Book Lettering, the hand‑crafted voice of classic panels Delegat captures the kinetic energy of vintage comic strips while honoring the fluid hand‑writing of Frank Ching. Its bold strokes and lively curves give each letter a sense of movement, yet the subtle alternates keep the text from feeling static. The font exudes a playful confidence, perfect for dialogue that needs to pop off the page without sacrificing readability. With regular, italic, and bold weights, plus two distinct glyph variations per character, it delivers a dynamic visual rhythm that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Designed for storytellers, this typeface shines in comic books, graphic novels, poster art, and animated title sequences. Use the built‑in ligatures to smooth repetitive letter pairs, or swap them for quirky alternates that add personality to speech bubbles and captions. The extra “censor” set lets you mask profanity with stylized symbols, keeping the tone fun and family‑friendly. Its extensive language support covers Western, Central, Eastern European, Baltic, and Turkish alphabets, making it versatile for international projects.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
