About This Font
Krondos: Gothic Horror with Haunting Clarity
Krondos is a gothic metal-inspired typeface that emerges from the shadows of forgotten scripts, blending the raw energy of horror with surprising typographic harmony. Each character is crafted to resemble ancient carvings from a cursed forest, featuring twisted, thorny tendrils that feel alive and sharp to the touch. Despite its menacing appearance, the font maintains a clear structure, ensuring that even the most intricate designs remain readable. This unique balance creates a mood that is both sinister and sophisticated, inviting viewers to delve deeper into its dark aesthetic.
Designers can use Krondos to craft compelling visual stories for haunted event posters, dark fantasy book titles, and underground music branding. Its distinctive look makes it ideal for album covers, festival flyers, and horror-themed social media graphics where an immediate emotional impact is desired. The font’s organic shapes allow for creative layouts that feel naturally integrated into eerie or mystical environments. Whether you are branding a metal band or designing a gothic wedding invitation, Krondos provides the perfect atmospheric touch to elevate your project’s tone.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
