About This Font
Machinas captures the gritty charm of late‑70s through early‑90s graphics, blending bold, blocky forms with playful swashes and alternate characters. Hand‑sketched from countless pencil scratches, each glyph feels raw yet refined, giving the typeface an authentic vintage edge. Its high‑contrast strokes and quirky details convey confidence, attitude, and a touch of rebellious spirit. The result is a versatile, eye‑catching voice that stands out whether it’s used at headline size or as a decorative accent. Designed for branding, apparel, and editorial projects, Machinas shines on logos, sticker packs, t‑shirts, posters, banners, and packaging. The extensive alternates let you craft unique typographic signatures, while the swash set adds flair to titles and invitations. Pair it with simple body text for a dynamic contrast, or let it dominate a full‑bleed display for maximum impact. Its 496‑glyph repertoire ensures multilingual support and endless creative possibilities.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
