About This Font
Merlight Script exudes confident charm with its thick, flowing strokes and subtle retro flair. Each glyph is hand‑crafted to balance robust weight and graceful curves, delivering a lively yet refined personality. The slightly distressed terminals add a nostalgic touch, while the overall smooth rhythm keeps the design feeling fresh and approachable. This script invites a sense of celebration, making every word feel handwritten with purpose and style. Designed for impact, Merlight Script shines in logo treatments, headline banners, and eye‑catching signage where presence matters. Its bold character works beautifully on wedding invitations, boutique packaging, fashion lookbooks, and upscale stationery, providing a timeless elegance that elevates any brand narrative. Use it to accent magazine spreads, book covers, or promotional materials that demand a distinctive, high‑end vibe. The font’s generous spacing and strong legibility ensure it performs well at both large and small scales, giving designers flexibility across print and digital media.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
