About This Font
Outcast Font
Rugged Distressed Typography for Authentic Grunge Projects
Outcast embodies the raw, unpolished spirit of true grunge by shattering the monotony of traditional type design. Each character features eight distinct variations, ensuring that no letter is ever repeated in your display settings. This handcrafted aesthetic delivers a gritty, textured mood that feels organic and deeply personal. The visual style is intentionally imperfect, capturing the chaotic energy of street art and vintage protest signage.
This versatile typeface is perfect for creating eye-catching album covers, punk band merch, and edgy poster designs. Designers can use this font to add a layer of authentic rebellion to branding, event invitations, or editorial spreads. It is an ideal choice for those seeking a distressed look that feels hand-made rather than digitally generated. Whether you are crafting a bold headline or a subtle accent, Outcast brings a unique, non-repeating texture to every project.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
