About This Font
Profane Brush – Urban Hand‑Drawn Edge
Profane Brush captures the raw energy of a graffiti‑style marker while retaining the elegance of a handcrafted brushstroke. Its irregular strokes and subtle jitter give each letter a rebellious personality that feels both spontaneous and purposeful. The alternates, accessed with Caps Lock, add a layer of surprise, letting designers flip between tight lettering and wildly expressive forms. Warm, gritty, and unmistakably modern, this typeface invites the viewer into a world where rules are meant to be bent.
Ideal for street‑wear branding, album covers, event posters, and edgy social media graphics, Profane Brush thrives wherever a bold visual voice is needed. Pair it with clean sans‑serifs for contrast or let it dominate a full‑bleed layout for maximum impact. The built‑in alternates make it perfect for custom logotypes, hand‑lettered quotes, and dynamic typographic illustrations. Its versatility also shines in packaging, tattoo flash sheets, and indie game UI, giving each project an authentic, hand‑crafted feel.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
