About This Font
Resting – Elegant High‑Contrast Serif for Bold Displays
Resting exudes timeless sophistication with its crisp, high‑contrast strokes and refined serifs that whisper classic elegance while staying unmistakably modern. The thick verticals and delicate hairlines create a dramatic rhythm, giving the typeface a confident, poised personality that commands attention without shouting. Its generous proportions and subtle curvature add a warm, inviting tone, making it perfect for projects that need both gravitas and creative flair.
Designed for headline‑level impact, Resting shines in branding, editorial spreads, poster art, and luxury packaging where a strong visual statement is essential. Pair it with minimalist sans‑serifs for a striking contrast, or combine it with ornamental scripts to heighten a sophisticated narrative. Its legibility at large sizes makes it ideal for event signage, album covers, and invitation suites, while the built‑in alternates and ligatures let designers inject nuanced detail into every composition.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
