✦ ScriptHandwritten & flowing — perfect for invitations and logos
About This Font
Silky Smoke feels like a handwritten note left on a sun‑warmed café napkin. Each stroke is soft yet confident, giving the typeface a warm, approachable personality that never feels forced. The slightly rounded terminals and gentle sway create a timeless charm, while the generous spacing keeps the text readable at any size. Its casual confidence makes it instantly likable, inviting viewers to linger a little longer on the message. Designed for versatility, Silky Smoke shines on both busy, textured backdrops and clean, minimal layouts. Use it for brand logos, product packaging, or boutique signage where a personal touch matters. It works beautifully in editorial headlines, wedding invitations, and social‑media graphics that need a friendly, handcrafted feel. Pair it with a simple sans‑serif for contrast, or let it stand alone as the focal point of a design. The font’s balanced weight also ensures legibility on screen and in print, from business cards to large format posters.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
