✦ DisplayBold & expressive — made to grab attention in headlines
About This Font
Staflare: Retro Psychedelic Black Display Sans
Staflare is an expressive, high-impact display typeface that boldly merges brutalist structure with the swirling chaos of pop art. Its thick, heavy strokes command immediate attention, while subtle organic distortions inject a sense of movement and raw energy into every letterform. This font radiates a confident, rebellious spirit, perfect for brands that refuse to blend in. The visual texture feels both handcrafted and industrial, creating a unique tension between stability and psychedelic fluidity.
Use Staflare to anchor your most daring visual projects, from vintage-inspired mountain gear branding to edgy music poster designs. It shines in editorial layouts where large-scale typography serves as the primary image, adding a layer of retro-futuristic drama to book covers and website headers. Whether you are designing a bold logo or a dynamic animation title, this typeface provides the punchy presence needed to stop the scroll. It pairs beautifully with clean sans-serif body text to create a striking contrast that highlights both the message and the mood.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
