About This Font
Wide House is a lively, hand‑crafted typeface that feels like a friendly, wide‑brimmed hat at a summer picnic. Its slightly expanded letters give it an open, airy presence while the relaxed strokes keep the vibe approachable and playful. The font’s whimsical charm makes every word feel like a casual conversation, yet its clean lines ensure legibility across any medium. Whether you’re drafting a greeting card or sketching a logo, Wide House invites a warm, inviting mood that instantly connects with the viewer. Use Wide House to breathe personality into everything from bold storefront signs to delicate wedding invitations. Its generous letter spacing works beautifully in headlines, while the hand‑drawn style adds character to body copy in newsletters or social media graphics. Designers love it for packaging mock‑ups, fashion labels, or even as a quirky accent in editorial spreads. The font’s versatility shines when paired with minimalist sans‑serifs or lush serif complements, creating a balanced yet spirited hierarchy in any layout.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
