About This Font
Butterine Script captures the soul of mid-century Americana with its confident, hand-painted aesthetic. Inspired by vintage roadside signage and classic advertising, this typeface exudes a nostalgic warmth that feels both timeless and modern. The letterforms feature smooth, rounded curves and continuous strokes that mimic the natural flow of a skilled calligrapher’s brush. Its low-contrast design ensures a cohesive look, while the bold weight provides strong visual impact without sacrificing readability. This versatile script is perfect for adding personality to your next creative project. Use it to craft eye-catching logos for artisanal food brands, coffee shops, or boutique clothing lines. It also shines in social media graphics, packaging designs, and vintage-style posters where a touch of retro charm is essential. Whether you are designing a menu for a retro diner or a flyer for a local festival, Butterine adds an authentic touch that resonates with audiences seeking style and character.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
