About This Font
Buttervale bursts onto the page with a lively, hand‑drawn swagger that feels both whimsical and confident. Its rounded terminals and bouncy strokes create a sense of movement, while the irregular, slightly irregular curves add a touch of delightful imperfection. The typeface exudes joy, inviting viewers into a world of imagination and light‑hearted fun, perfect for projects that need a dash of personality without sacrificing readability. Designed for the most vibrant branding moments, Buttervale shines on children’s books, toy packaging, birthday invitations, and eye‑catching social‑media graphics. It also makes a memorable statement in logo work, poster headlines, and festive event signage, where its quirky charm can instantly lift the mood. Pair it with simple sans‑serifs for contrast or let it dominate a layout for a bold, celebratory impact. The font’s generous x‑height and open counters ensure clarity even at smaller sizes, making it versatile across print and digital mediums.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
