About This Font
Lombardic Display: A Majestic Romanesque Typeface
Lombardic Display invites you into a grand world of historic legend and medieval majesty, evoking the spirit of exquisite illuminated manuscripts. Drawing artistic inspiration from traditional Romanesque calligraphy and antique cathedral carvings, this premium decorative typeface balances heavy, structural shapes with intricate botanical filigree. Each character is adorned with swirling vines and stylized clover flourishes carved directly into its core, creating a sense of enduring strength and artistic refinement. The result is a unique aesthetic that feels both ancient and timeless, perfectly capturing the essence of a bygone era with modern digital precision.
This versatile all-caps typeface stands out as a premier centerpiece for high-fantasy novel covers, historical tabletop RPG titles, and traditional craft brewery logos. Its dramatic presence makes it ideal for theater branding and medieval museum exhibition headers where visual impact is paramount. Designers can use Lombardic Display to add depth and narrative weight to book jackets, event posters, and luxury packaging. The ornate details reward close inspection, offering a rich visual texture that elevates any project into a work of art.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
