About This Font
Loney Loons Font: The Playful Punched-Hole Personality
Loney Loons is a contemporary display typeface that blends modern minimalism with an irreverent, artistic spirit. Its distinctive character is defined by smooth, rounded edges that give the letterforms a soft, approachable demeanor, instantly putting viewers at ease. However, the design is far from simple, as it incorporates unique holes within the strokes to create a sense of depth and edginess. This clever contrast between gentle curves and open negative space results in a visual style that feels both friendly and bold, making it a standout choice for designers seeking a unique voice.
This versatile font shines in projects that demand immediate attention and a touch of whimsy. It is an ideal companion for creative branding, making logos memorable and distinct in crowded digital spaces. For print media, Loney Loons adds a layer of tactile intrigue to posters, packaging, and invitations that need to pop off the page. Because its rounded forms maintain excellent legibility even at smaller sizes, it works beautifully for short headlines, social media graphics, and editorial accents where personality matters as much as clarity.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
