About This Font
Loughland: Playful Hand-Printed Sans Serif with a Silly Soul
Loughland is a charming hand-printed sans serif typeface that radiates a silly and youthful energy. Its letterforms are organic and imperfect, capturing the raw, spontaneous feel of marker on paper. The style is relaxed and approachable, steering clear of rigid geometric structures in favor of expressive, wobbly character. This font brings a sense of fun and authenticity to any project, breaking the monotony of polished, corporate typography with its endearing quirks.
Ideal for indie zines, children’s books, and casual social media graphics, Loughland injects immediate warmth into your designs. It pairs beautifully with bold illustrations or playful layouts where personality is the priority. Designers can use it for hand-lettered stickers, party invitations, or creative branding for small businesses that value authenticity over formality. The typeface encourages a conversational tone, making it perfect for projects that need to feel human, accessible, and delightfully unpretentious.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
