About This Font
Sketchy is a playful display typeface that captures the spontaneous energy of a marker sketch while maintaining the precision needed for professional design work. Its slightly irregular strokes and open counters create an authentic, human touch that instantly warms up any layout. The letterforms feel relaxed yet structured, striking a perfect balance between messy creativity and clean execution. This unique character makes the font feel approachable, friendly, and surprisingly versatile for modern brands seeking personality. This versatile typeface shines in casual branding, social media graphics, and playful editorial headlines. It brings a sense of immediacy and authenticity to invitations, packaging, and website banners where a sterile sans-serif might lack soul. Designers can use Sketchy to add a layer of artistic flair to logos, posters, or merchandise without sacrificing legibility. Whether you are crafting a boutique coffee shop identity or a fun event flyer, this font ensures your message feels personal and inviting.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no export limit. The tool runs in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
Will the SVG work in Cricut Design Space?
Yes — the export is a true vector path, not an image traced into one, so it uploads and cuts cleanly. The same file opens in Silhouette Studio, Illustrator, Inkscape and Figma.
Can I sell what I make?
That depends on the font, not on the tool — each font page states its licence. Many are free for personal use with a commercial licence available from the original designer, and the licence line links straight to the source.
Do I need to install the font first?
No. The font loads in the page, so you can set your text and export without installing anything. You can still download the font file separately if you want it on your system.
